My Favorite Color is Moda features 31 blocks in various sizes, from 9" to 36" square. We are featuring 4 color ways of the quilt: Primrose Garden, Coastal Cool, Cookie Tin and Pink Lemonade. Which will you choose? It's all traditional quilt-pieced; no EPP or Foundation paper piecing is involved! It's a great skill-builder, and a little dose of sunshine in your mailbox each month! I think I'm going to do the Cookie Tin, so that by the end of November next year, I'll have a Christmas quilt all ready to go!
Sew-along will go from January to December of 2021, which covers 1 month of prep (fabric choice & cutting) and 11 months of sewing. We're starting with a prep post from Moda on January 19th about color choices and fabric cutting (rather than having a month for finishing at the end of the sew along). This way you'll have a couple weeks of prep time before we start the blocks in February.
Pattern is included automatically with your BOM or you can purchase it separately here if you choose to use your own fabric. Please use the hashtags #myfavoritecolorismoda and #bellasolids so that we can follow along and share!
There is a small-scale coloring page for the sampler in the pattern booklet but we've also got the downloadable version for you here!

Disclaimer: Please note - we are opening this block of the month up to International participants under certain conditions:
Due to COVID-19 and the worldwide pandemic, there have been significant delays with the world postal system. We cannot accept responsibility for lost and/or delayed shipments. We promise to make sure they are shipped and will provide tracking information, but once they are scanned in by the United States Postal System, we cannot cover any loss/damage/delays. All International shipments are now processed through sorting facilities on each US coast, and they can often be stuck in these for several weeks at a time. We encourage you to keep your tracking numbers that you’ll receive every other month from us, and you can sign up on the www.USPS.com website for updates. While we are shipping hundreds of packages a month, we have yet to see significant loss of packages. In most cases, they are just significantly delayed and do eventually get delivered. While we’d love to be able to replace lost packages, it’s not financially possible for us to do so when the postal system is to blame for any issues. We CAN, however, replace your package if it is lost for a nominal fee and add it to your next shipment. We are placing orders for the fabric for many months in advance for our block of the month programs, and thus only have finite amounts of each on hand. If a package does become lost in transit, you will need to file a claim directly with USPS, though the International First Class shipments are not insured against loss; only your first shipment with the pattern/paper pieces, fabric, etc will be insured because it will be going Priority Mail. We will hold your packages for 2 months at a time, and then ship them both Priority mail, which has additional tracking capability and insurance included (up to $50 USD). The first shipment in January, you will receive Month 1 fabric and pattern, and then will receive a shipment again on Months 3, 5, 7, 9, 11.
Thank you so much for your understanding, and for being a Pink Door Fabrics customer. We appreciate your business, and can’t wait for things to get back to normal.
