We are thrilled to announce our first block of the month using Tilda fabrics! The Putting Down Roots quilt is sure to become an heirloom for years to come. The quilt uses a new technique for our blocks of the month; it will be an appliqué project of beautiful flower vases in a wide array of Tilda fabrics. Each month? You will receive the fabrics needed for that block, pre-printed appliqué paper for the block design, and a full-color layout of exactly where each fabric goes. We have curated an array of add-on materials that will help you be successful in this block of the month adventure. 

We are also supporting this block of the month with a video tutorial to get you started and comfortable with this method of appliqué. Suitable for all skill levels, we hope that you will join us in making this gorgeous quilt! We will begin shipping the first month in November, and the sew-along will last 9 months. 

The design is made up of two different appliqué blocks – a large flower and a small flower, each in three different colorways. The method used is turned-edge appliqué, with the motifs are sewn to a Solid peacock-colored background. A narrow border frames the whole design.

  • Monthly cutting assistants to make sewing fast and easy to follow.
