Our Story

Pink Door Fabrics was started in 2011 out of a love for bright, modern fabrics. With a background in interior design and marketing, it’s become the perfect marriage to nurture both my right and left brain!

I grew up watching my mom sew, and taught myself to quilt in my 20’s using fabrics by Amy Butler and some of Tula Pink’s first lines. I wish I’d held onto more of that fabric! While I love quilts, I also love making bags and admittedly start way more projects than I actually finish. There just need to be a few more hours in the day to be creative!

I’m as obsessed with texture and fabric as you are (yes, I hoard fabric, too!) and I hope that our custom-curated selection provides the perfect palette for your next quilting or sewing project.We tend towards the more modern in terms of aesthetic here at Pink Door, and love to put together custom quilt and bag kits that take the guess work out of choosing fabrics online.
